Applications are invited for interdisciplinary midi+PhD project proposals for our current cohort of MRes+PhD students (for projects starting May/Oct 2022)
The deadline for submission of expression of interest is Friday 7th Jan 2022 – only a short 100-200 word description is needed at this stage, using this EoI form.
Full proposals will be invited from PIs who have at least one student who is potentially interested in choosing a Midi+PhD project in their group. The deadline for full proposals will be 24 Feb 2022.
The midi project is 13 weeks long and will run from early May – end July 2022. The PhD projects (beginning Sep/Oct 2022) may or may not be directly connected to the Midi project but will benefit from building on skills and experience gained during the Midi project.
All NanoDTC projects require an academic co-supervisor from another department / discipline in addition to the main PI. Projects can also have an additional industry supervisor.
