Dan Scott
Graduate Student Researcher at University of Cambridge
I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston (joint year at Peking University) studying Physics, Mathematics, Chinese Studies, and Asian American Studies. I did research as an undergraduate at the Ion Beam Laboratory in the Texas Center for Superconductivity focused on the synthesis and properties of metallic nanoparticle alloys. I am in the Integrated Quantum Materials group at Cavendish Laboratories under the mentorship of Dr. Stephen Rowley. My research is focused on superconductivity and quantum criticality in ferroelectric and antiferroelectric materials.PhD Supervisors: Dr. Stephen Rowley – Department of Physics and Prof. Judith Driscoll – Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy
Research Topic: Functional Nanoelectronics and Quantum Materials
