Having completed his PhD at the University of Cambridge in 2019 under Dr Tawfique Hasan, Tom Albrow-Owen is now a postdoctoral research associate in the group of Dr Hannah Joyce. His current research revolves around the study of 1- and 2-dimensional nanomaterials toward optoelectronic and quantum technology applications, with a particular focus on InAs nanowire device physics. He was shortlisted as one of the final 5 candidates for the Scopus UK Early Career Researcher of the Year 2020 in the Physical Sciences. For a full list of publications see here.
