NanoDTC Associates Competition - Deadline 27th October

The NanoDTC Associates competition is and opportunity for Cambridge PhD students working in nano related areas to become affiliatedto the NanoDTC and also receive a travel grant of up to £3000. Applications accepted until Fri 27th Oct.

Are you at the start or middle of your PhD and your research is related to Nanoscience? If so, you have an opportunity to expand your professional network within Cambridge and win a travel grant up to £3000 via the annual NanoDTC Associates Competition.

The NanoDTC Associates programme is designed to widen the network of the NanoDTC amongst other research groups in Cambridge. Associates are chosen via a competition held every year. The Associates receive a travel grant of up to £3000 from the NanoDTC  and an opportunity to participate in a number of events organised by the NanoDTC. They contribute to the NanoDTC in various ways, including organising informal talks, journal clubs, lab tours and any other way they can think of contributing to the NanoDTC community.

Applications are accepted until 27th Oct 2017. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to present a talk at the Cambridge NanoShowcase, on 24th Nov 2017- book now: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/nano-showcase-2017-tickets-38585627651

Eligibility: A Cambridge PhD student working in any areas closely related to the NanoDTC Research Themes (https://www.nanodtc.cam.ac.uk/research_themes) with more than one year to go before submitting their thesis

Submission deadline: Applicants to send completed forms to team@nanodtc.cam.ac.uk by 12 noon on 27th Oct
