We accepting applications for entry in Oct 2019. See 'How to apply' for more information.

We welcome applicants from across Physical Sciences including Physics, Chemistry, Materials and Engineering. Entry into this prestigious programme is competitive, and will take into account qualifications, aspirations and experience.

We are currently only considering applications for Oct 2019 entry from students who have 'Home Status' and are therefore eligible for UK Research Council Funding.

We normally offer full funding (fees + maintenance) to UK (Home) students who we accept on to our MRes+PhD programme.

Please start your online Graduate Application by clicking here.

The application deadline for EU and Overseas students to be considered for funding was 3rd Jan 2019. Please check this website in August 2019 for details of funding deadlines for 2020-21.
