About the NanoDTC

The NanoDTC MRes + PhD (1 + 3) programme includes science courses, practicals and projects in Year 1 before the selection of an interdisciplinary PhD topic for research in Years 2-4 in a Nano group within Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Materials or another department where nano related research is carried out.

The core scientific aspects of the programme are complemented by the Business, Innovation and Science Communication training that is offered formally through courses in the 1st year and through workshops, events and group activities throughout the programme.
