George Lewis

George Lewis

I am a PhD student in the 2018 NanoDTC cohort co-supervised by Dr Ljiljana Fruk in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, and Prof George Malliaras in the Department of Engineering.

My research is currently focused on investigating organic semiconductors for photosensitization in microbes.

The ultimate aim of my research is to develop a solar-to-chemical synthesis process mediated by microbes which provides an alternative to petrochemical processes.
