Student Startups

A pipeline for innovation excellence

A core focus of the NanoDTC programme is to expose all students to innovation and entrepreneurship during their initial training. In this process, some discover a passion for these areas they hadn’t previously considered. Students are supported in exploring these areas via NanoDTC training, notably the NanoFutures Leadership (formerly the Translational Prize) in addition to translational funding from Cambridge Enterprise and the University Enterprise Network more generally.

Our Alumni Start-ups

Several of our alumni have gone off to found their own companies, now cumulatively valued over $500M in total.

Those started by our core students can be found below. A full list of startups by all programme alumni (core students and associates) can be found on Dealroom.
