James Waller
I am a PhD student in the Cavendish lab AMOP and QEG groups, and recently graduated Physics student from the University of York.
I have had and interest in nanotechnology since my undergraduate studies, taking an internship followed by a master’s project with Peratech Holdco Ltd, exploring quantum tunneling composites, before joining the UK civil service researching quantum computing.
I also enjoy helping physics students of all levels through tutoring, and I am engaged in outreach to school students to increase interest in and knowledge of quantum physics and technologies.
