Nano Ambassadors
Overview
The NanoDTC students and associates, along with their ground-up network, have played a vital role in the success of the NanoDTC – breaking down barriers between departments at Cambridge and opening up new avenues for interdisciplinary research and collaboration.
Building on this success, the Nano Ambassadors programme extended the impact of these student-led networks to nanoscience research groups across universities in the UK. The programme combined the development of a strong inter-university student community with meaningful outreach efforts. The first group of Nano Ambassadors joined the programme in 2019, delivering talks at schools and universities prior to the COVID-19 pandemic
