My research focuses on combing DNA technology with solid state nanopore sensing to enable single molecule sensing of multiple cancer biomarkers simultaneously without the need of amplification or reverse transcription. My current project investigates the application of this technology to sense multiple miRNAs for the early detection of esophageal cancer.
