Research Topic: Optofluidics for monitoring photocatalysis
Optofluidics Group
I was a PhD student at Corpus Christi College, who joined the NanoDTC in 2017. Previously, I graduated from the University of Oxford with a MEng Materials Science, where my final-year project involved the modelling and fabrication of optical memory and solid-state reflective displays based on phase-change materials. My PhD research focused on ultralow volume spectroscopy to study photocatalysts for solar fuel production – particularly those that can split water into hydrogen and oxygen under solar illumination. PhD Supervisors: Dr. Tijmen Euser– Department of Physics and Prof. Erwin Reisner– Department of Chemistry
Research Keywords: Transient Absorption Spectroscopy, Photonic Crystal Fibres, Photocatalysis, Optical Spectroscopy
