I did my undergraduate studies in Natural Sciences (Physics and Physical Chemistry) at University College London and the California Institute of Technology. I first came to Cambridge to study theoretical physics in DAMTP, before joining the NanoDTC MRes+PhD programme. My research explored different ways of making colourful materials from sustainable building blocks. I am fascinated by the chiral colloidal self-assembly of cellulose nanocrystals and how it can be used to create films with unique optical properties. PhD Supervisors: Prof. Silvia Vignolini- Department of Chemistry
Research Topic: Self-assembly of bio-inspired photonic structures
