Dr Tim Van De Goor
Materials Scientist at ASML Research
Tim’s final year as a PhD student was supervised by Siân Dutton (Physics, University of Cambridge) and Felix Deschler (WSI, Technical University of Munich). He was interested in the fundamental structure-property relationships that govern complex materials for optoelectronics. The PhD was working on hybrid perovskites, where he is investigating the interplay between substituted dopants and the crystal structure through diffraction and thermodynamic measurements.
