I’m Vito Cientanni, and I research bulk type II superconductors. Most of my research involves FEM modelling of the process of flux jumps (a sudden redistribution of magnetic flux within a superconductor), and an attempt to understanding their behaviour in bulk superconductors acting as trapped field magnets. PhD Supervisors: Dr. Mark Ainslie- Department of Engineering
